Where Have I Known You Before is the fourth album by Return to Forever and the second since Chick Corea changed the lineup and switched to playing jazz fusion with influences of progressive rock. The album features important changes in the sound and lineup of the group, including the use of synthesizers and the replacement of guitarist Bill Connors with 19-year-old Al Di Meola.
